Water is more than an H2O equation. Putting aside a host of many other impurities that may be found in your consumption water supply; there are essential dissolved minerals in your water that are critical for biological functions for you, plants, and other biological lifeforms. Removing these mineral from your water (i.e. calcium, magnesium) will start to alter your water chemistry and eventually jeopardize your health.
The Vulcan Electronic Anti-Scale System is NOT a water filter; it does NOT remove minerals, it temporarily changes (1-7 days) the molecular construction of minerals so they do not bond to surfaces. All the benefits of softened water but without the environmental influence, that slimy feel of soft water, and without using salt or other consumables.

Government agencies worldwide trust Vulcan for critical infrastructure protection
OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT APPROVAL
Dubai Municipality tested Vulcan S25 on irrigation systems from Nov 2017 to Feb 2018. Results were positive, leading to official approval for all future Dubai Municipality irrigation projects. This endorsement from one of the world's most progressive cities demonstrates the reliability and effectiveness of Vulcan technology for municipal infrastructure.

Vulcan has been protecting municipal infrastructure for decades

Installation is very easy but if you need onsite installation support, reach out to us.
Put the two cable ties through the fixing holes at the bottom of the electronic device. Place the device onto the pipe. Use the cable ties to secure the device to the pipe.
Connect one of the impulse bands to the device and use another cable tie to fasten it onto the pipe.
Wind the impulse bands around the pipe producing a coil. Make sure you wind the band tightly to the pipe and place the windings close to each other.
Latch the end of the impulse band to the pipe using another cable tie. Now repeat the procedure with the second impulse band.
First plug the connector into the upper right in-jack of the device and then connect the power supply unit with an electrical outlet.
The red pilot lights will illuminate as soon as the device starts to operate. Vulcan works from now on and maintenance-free.

Protect the electronic unit, the impulse bands and the power supply against humidity and water.
Only use the provided electronic switching adaptor.
Do not cut the impulse bands or the 36 V power cord of the power supply unit.
Do not remove the end caps or the impulse band insulation.
The operating temperature of Vulcan ranges from -13°F to 122°F.
Temperature peaks on heating element surfaces should not exceed ~203°F.
Clean the device with water only.

For optimal water treatment, Vulcan is best installed near the water meter or at the main water supply.
The impulse band windings can be placed on the left side, on the right side or underneath the electronic device. Leave a safe distance of 1 inch or more between the bands.
Vulcan can be installed vertically, horizontally or at any other angle. If there is no space available on the pipe the electronic block can also be wall-mounted.
In case of limited space the windings can be placed partly on the main pipe and partly on the distributor pipe.
These various installations setups are possible because the treatment impulses extend over 9-16 feet on either sides of the impulse bands along the water pipe length.

MUNICIPAL HEAT EXCHANGERS
Municipal district heating systems rely on clean heat exchangers to deliver reliable service to thousands of residents. Scale buildup acts as an insulator—⅛ inch thickness can result in 20%-25% efficiency loss. Vulcan continuously cleans heat exchangers without dismantling, ensuring optimal heat transfer and lower fuel consumption for your community.
WATER DISTRIBUTION PUMPS
Keep water moving through your distribution network without excessive wear on pumping equipment. Scale buildup on pump impellers and casings reduces efficiency and leads to premature failure. Vulcan prevents scale formation, extending pump life and reducing unplanned maintenance for your water utility.

WATER MAINS & PIPELINES
Scale buildup in water mains reduces flow capacity and increases pumping costs. Vulcan treats the entire pipeline network from a single installation point, preventing scale formation and gradually removing existing deposits. This restores flow rates, reduces pressure loss, and extends the life of your underground infrastructure.
MUNICIPAL IRRIGATION
Dubai Municipality officially approved Vulcan for all irrigation projects after a 4-month pilot. Scale-clogged sprinklers and drip lines lead to uneven watering and wasted water. Vulcan keeps irrigation systems clear, ensuring public green spaces receive the water they need while reducing maintenance demands on your parks department.

WATER TREATMENT PLANTS
From clarifiers to filtration membranes, scale affects every stage of water treatment. Vulcan protects expensive RO membranes, prevents scale on heat exchangers, and keeps pumps and valves operating efficiently. Chemical-free and maintenance-free, it's the ideal solution for public water utilities seeking to reduce operating costs and environmental impact.
PUBLIC BUILDINGS
Schools, hospitals, fire stations, and government offices all face the same scale challenges. Vulcan protects boilers, chillers, water heaters, and plumbing throughout public facilities—reducing energy costs, extending equipment life, and freeing maintenance staff to focus on other priorities.

MUNICIPAL SUPPORT
As water flows through your municipal infrastructure—from treatment plants to distribution networks to public facilities—Vulcan can be positioned strategically to protect your entire system. Contact our municipal specialists to discuss your specific infrastructure needs and we'll recommend installation models and locations tailored to your community.
